Zhang Jinghao is a 19-year-old student from Jiushui Road School with a minor intellectual disability. He won a gold medal in each of the Special Olympics Sailing and Golf competitions, as well as admiration from his teachers and classmates. Given his perseverance and love of life, he was recommended to receive one of ten “Touching Qingdao 2009” awards, the first candidate with an intellectual disability to be given such an honor.
