On Jan 9 2010, it was chilly in Beijing after a big snow storm, while the 90 students, teachers and parents from three local special schools enjoyed the “Love as Song” New Year Concert that was hosted by UBS at the Concert Hall of the Central Conservatory of Music.
The concert, with songs performed by China Symphony Orchestra of Youngsters and Young Women Chorus that were conducted by famous conductor Professor Yang Hongnian, was especially hosted by UBS for the students and teachers from Beijing Shunyi Special School, Beijing Tongzhou Special School and Beijing Chaoyang Anhua School. Students from the three schools also presented their own performances. Mr. Simon Jin, and around 200 UBS Beijing employees and their families, representatives from Special Olympics East Asia and the Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries also attended the concert.
