2008 Special Olympics East Asia Regional Football Competition was held successfully in Hainan, China On Dec. 1-5, 2008. Over 250 Special Olympics athletes and coaches from China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Korea and Macau took part in the competition. SOEA Managing Director Ms. Anna Chan and Special Olympics China Chairman, Mr. Wang Zhijun presented the event. Along with the competition, Special Olympics Healthy Athletes was implemented.
