Special Olympics International Collaborating Center at Wenzhou Medical College Hosts First Healthy Athletes Training in China

Wenzhou Medical College, a Special Olympics Regional Collaborating Center, hosted a training session for over 30 healthcare professionals from around China on December 9-11, 2004. The healthcare professionals hailed from Beijing, Shanghai,  Heilongjiang, Guangdong, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu provinces traveled to Wenzhou, Zhejiang, as well as Hang Kong, Chinese Taipei, and Macau.  The training sessions culminated in a screening of 150 athletes from local special education schools in Wenzhou.
