Special Olympics Chinese Taipei serves over 12,500 athletes and conducts sports training and competitions in acquatics, athletics, badminton, basketball, bocce, bowling, cross country skiing, cycling, equestrian, figure skating, floor hockey, football, golf, gymnastics, roller skating, skiing, snowboarding, softball, speed skating, table tennis, tennis and volleyball.  In addition to regularly held local, provincial and national competitions, Special Olympics Chinese Taipei has also sent athlete teams to participate in the Special Olympics World Summer and Winter Games.
