Founder Donates 20 New Laptops to Special Olympics East Asia

The Founder Technology Group has announced plans to donate 20 new laptop computers to Special Olympics East Asia . The donation is part of the region's Information Technology Initiative, a project which aims to improve communication and awareness through the development of online information resources and the provision of computer hardware and training to sub-Program staff and volunteers. Intel, an IT partner with Special Olympics, has been instrumental in arranging the donation of computers with Founder. The China-based offices of Intel will also be providing logistical assistance for the training events. The computer donation portion of the IT Initiative is a three-phase project in which computer donations and the attendant training sessions will occur in cities around China – the first of which is scheduled for March in Beijing. The donations will take place in facilities provided by Intel. The trainees will return to their home cities and are tasked with using the computers to improve the development and the quality of their sub-Programs.
