The Bayer Corporation, China office, has committed to donating US$15,000 in 2004 to the Special Olympics China Adopt-a-School Program. The donation will support two special education schools in Beijing and one in Shanghai. William Valentino, General Manager of Corporate Communications for Bayer in China, has been a strong advocate of Special Olympics and will help to initiate a corporate appeal among the Beijing business community for the adoption of all 22 Beijing special education schools in 2004.
