On June 5, the 2008 National Special Olympics Football Week and Shenyang Special Olympics Men's Football Match were held in Shenyang Huanggu District Stadium. Present at the activity were 120 people including over 60 Special Olympics athletes from 5 representative teams of five districts in Shenyang as well as their relatives and coaches, referees and football volunteers of Liaoning Guanbo Football Club.
